centering a custom logo

Hi,

Well, day 3 into trying to create my own Genesis Child Theme and I have run into a problem I just can't seem to figure out. I am modeling it after Twenty Seven, written by Brian Gardner. I was able to make modifications to it and basically I was happy with it but want to try my hand at a child theme. So, my problem is for the life of me I cannot get the custom header to center. I have tried everything, some things probably 2-3 times. 😖

The site is https://www.gracefellowshippca.org

Many thanks and I think maybe I might just go have a good glass of wine. As they say, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!! 😁

Peace,
Carroll

Hey Carroll,

There currently is no built-in design option that allows you to easily create the centered logo with a split menu on either side. But you could add the following to your Custom CSS and tweak from there:

.wp-custom-logo .title-area {
	position: fixed;
	top: 10px;
	left: calc(50% - 150px);
	z-index: 1;
}

Many thanks. Never seen that calc arg(?, not sure what that is called). I will give it a try. Have a blessed weekend. See you soon. LOL.
