In the following screencast I performed the following tasks:
(Note that before performing these tasks I had already pointed my CobaltSandbox.com DNS records away from my Vultr cloud server, and over to my Digital Ocean cloud server.)
- Created a new Digital Ocean Droplet with WordPress pre-installed.
- Added my CobaltSandbox.com domain to the "Networking" tab in the Digital Ocean dashboard. (This automatically created the necessary NS records for it, but I then added the appropriate A record and CNAM record.)
- Opened the virtual terminal for my new server and walked through the final setup process, which included setting up the new domain with an SSL certificate.
- Opened a new tab and typed in my domain name and then finished up the WordPress installation process.
